Siddha Peeth Guru Maniknath Tehri Garhwal's Dagarpatti is situated at a height of 8000 feet, it is said that Guru Maniknath ji came here and meditated, according to the belief, Adi Guru Shankaracharya established Kedaradnath and Badrinath at the same time Guru Maniknath came from Gujarat And here is making its tapasthali
Some people also tell that Bir Modho Singh Bhandari ji was a disciple of Guru Maniknath. Became a commander (Senapati) in the Tehr Riyasat from the blessings of Guru Maniknath. By his grace, this temple was built.
In the holy cave, women are not allowed to come here, the consumption of meat, liquor, garlic; onion is stopped a few days before coming here.
According to the belief, only one ( ROTAÂ ) Roti is made here as Prasad, after offering it to Guru Maninath, it is distributed among the devotees in the form of Prasad.
Guru Maniknath ji, with his devotional power, built a well at some distance from the temple.
You can clearly see the view of many villages from here, every 28 and 29 May, a huge fair is also organized here.

Rishikesh to RishikeshÂ
Day 1 - Rishikesh to Dagar, khuthar village (152km ) (4/5 hours ) Overnight home stay
Day 2 - Kuthar to Dalko khal (08 km ) (4/5 hours) Overnight stay in camp
Day 3- Dalko khal to guru manikanta temple (07km) ( 3/4 hours ) stay in campsite
Day 4- guru manikanta to Magru koti jero point via Tehri Overnight stay in hotel
Day 5- Tehri lake visit boating Dobrachati bridge visit and back to Rishikesh by taxi (74.1 km) (1/2 hours )
