Khatling Glacier Trek

The source of River Bhilangana, Khatling  Glacier is a mesmerizing glacier perched at an elevation of 3,700 m. The glacier is surrounded by the Himalayan peaks of Jogin group (6,466 m), Barte Kauter (6,579 m), Sphetic Pristwar (6,905 m), and Meru (6,660 m).

With the pristine lakes of Sahasratal and Masartal seated on either side, Khatling Glacier grandiosely lies in the picturesque Bhilangana Valley. River Bhilangana originates from Khatling Glacier.

Short itinerary of Khatling Glacier Trek & Expedition

Day 1- Rishikesh to Ghuttu ( 1524 Meters) (159.2 km) ( 4/5 hours) Overnight in homestay

Day 2- Ghuttu to Reeh (2000 meters) (10km) By Trek (5/6 hours)

Day 3- Reeh to Gangi ( 2606 meters ) (12 km) (5/6 Hours )

Day 4- Gangi to kharsali (3110 Meters) (11km) terk (5/6 hours)

Day 5- kharsali to Bhedikharg ( 3700 meters)

Day 6- Bhedikharg to khatling Glacier (12km by Trek ) (3900 meters) back to Bhedikharg

Day 7- Bhedikharg to Ghangi

Day 8 - Gangi to Ghuttu

Day 9- Ghuttu to Rishikesh (159.2km) by taxi
